The Shahkot police have arrested a proclaimed offender (po) absconding for the last two years. Investigating officer (IO) Sukhwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Nishan Singh son of Kabal Singh a resident of Talwandi Butian village and wanted in a case of drug peddling registered in 1997 and was declared PO in 2023.
