The Nakodar city police have booked a Mehat Pur villager on the charges of rash driving and causing hurt by an act endangering life.
The investigating officer (IO) Nachtar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Jaswindar Singh a resident of Mahem village under Mehat Pur police station.

Shahkot complained to the police that the accused was driving his SUV((PB-09 -L-2609) very rashly and negligently on January 21 and hit his motorcycle and seriously injuring him and damaging his two-wheeler.
The investigating officer said that a case under sections 279(rash driving on the public highway), 337, and 338(causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 424(fraudulent removal or concealment of property of himself or any other person or assisting in the doing thereof, or dishonestly ) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
