Kapurthala Jan.2; Mrs Puneet Kaur,NIIFT,Mohali graduate has won Mrs.India - North Zone - One in a Million title during a recent pageant held at Gurugram. There were seventy married women contestants from different States of India and abroad too. About 5000 married women participated in audition and priliminary round before short listing seventy ladies for the Grand Finale.
Former Mrs. World and actress Aditi Gonitrikar was also present as a celebrity guest. Jury members included Rohit Dhingra,GK Aggarwal, Payal Singh, Prashant Chaudhary,Swati Dixit,Swarina Singh and Anjali Sahni.
The event was organised to encourage married women to come out of routine domestic chores and lead a healthy and creative life and inspire the young girls too that age is just a number - body and personality development is life long phenomenon.
Mrs Puneet Kaur who hails from Hoshiarpur added that she got whole hearted support from family to make it happen.
The Crown will open doors for greater opportunities in future too. So it's a happy beginning for 2023.
