The Bilga police have booked a villager on the charge of outraging a woman’s modesty.
The investigating officer (IO) Baljit Kaur said that the accused has been identified as Rannjit Singh a resident of Mehsam Pur village.

The victim complained to the police the accused assaulted her husband and dragged her by pulling and slapping her.
IO said that a case under sections 354 (criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty),323(voluntarily causing hurt) and 427 (mischief) has been registered against the accused. No arrest has been made and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
