The Lohian Khas police have booked four persons including two women on the charge of assaulting a villager.
The Investigating officer (IO) Sukhdev Singh said that the accused have been identified as Sukhwindar Singh, his wife Palwindar Kaur ,Rannjit Kaur wife of Balwindar Singh ,Bhalwindar Singh, and his son Gursewak Singh all residents of Gatti Rai Pur .
Jaswindar Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused assaulted and seriously injured him.
IO said a case under sections 323 and 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) and 148 and 149 (rioting) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused.
