JALANDHAR
Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Monday handed over appointment letters to 69 newly recruited patwari in the administrative complex and asked them to perform their duties with honesty and dedication.
Sarangal said that the patwaris were the backbone of the district administration and they must serve the people by facilitating them at any cost. He said that people must not face any kind of difficulties in getting their work done. He said that their joining would streamline the working of the revenue department to facilitate the common man.
While extending best wishes to the newly appointed patwaris, the DC said the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan, had been providing jobs to youth as well as ensuring hassle-free delivery of utility services to people.
