Investigating Officer Bagicha Singh said that 9 bottles of hooch were recovered from the accused identified as Paramjit Kaur a      resident of Khehra village.  A case under section 61 /1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.

The Punjab government has sought a report from director health and family welfare on Nakodar resident’s complaint against a government doctor doing private practice in civil hospital here. Superintendent health and family welfare department in an official communication to director said that you were directed earlier to send a report of investigation of the matter involving complainant but of no avail.
