Kejriwal begins his five days extensive tour for poll campaign in Punjab

JALANDHAR: National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi Chief Minister is beginning his five-days extensive tour for poll campaign in Punjab and would take road shows and address several meetings in entire state.

Kejriwal tour to begin with a road show at Shutrana followed by Samana and Nabha constituency today and on January 12, he would address several political meetings at Patiala Rural, Sanaur and citadel of PPCC Chief Captain Amarinder, Patiala assembly segment.

On January 13, Delhi CM would be on extensive visit of Jalandhar, where he would conduct road shows in all the four constituencies of city.  He would begin his road show at McDonald Chowk before passing through the Ghara Chowk, Shastri Market, Model Town Mrket, Mata Rani Chowk, Jhandia Wale Peer Chowk, Kapurthala Chowk and cultimate at Santokhpur of Jalandhar (North) assembly segment.

Kejriwal would begin his campaign trail from Bhoa on January 14 and would visit the constituencies of Dina Nagar, Dera Baba Nanak and Khem Karan, sources said.

On the last day of tour in the current itinerary, Kejriwal would address political meetings at Ajnala, Raja Sansi, Attari and Taran Taran of Majha region of the state.

It is pertinent to mention here that Congress leadership, which is still camping in Delhi in wait of flight from Mumbai, bringing its star campaigner Navjot Sidhu, other political parties especially AAP has already went into poll mode by distributing tickets for all the 117 assembly setments.
