15 students of CT Group of Institutions selected by Top Notch Companies during Placement Drives

Jalandhar: Multinational companies, Aon Hewitt, Eclerx Services Limited and Capgemini conducted Pool and On Campus Placement Drives at Shahpur Campus of CT Group of Institutions for the recruitment of B.Tech. (CSE/IT/ECE/ELCE/EE/EEE), MCA, BCA, BBA, B.Com and B.Sc. (IT) students. As many as 15 students were selected during the drives by the company officials out of the 127 students appeared in the drives.

As many as 87 students from 2017 passing out batch of B.Tech (CSE/IT/ECE/ELCE/EE/EEE), B.Sc. (IT), BBA, B.Com. participated in Eclerx Services placement drive while students of B.Tech. & MCA appeared in Aon Hewitt drive. Out of the appeared students, 11 were selected by Eclerx Services and 03 by Aon Hewitt after the final Interview round.

One of the students, Ms. Jyoti Manhas said, “Yes, our dreams got wings only because of our campus initiatives. They have provided us ample of opportunities by conducting several placement drives for us. We got rejections in many but finally we did it.”

Giving information, Mr. Bimalendu Pati from Eclerx said that the placement drive included four rounds – Pre Placement, Written Test, HR Round and Operation Interview at a salary package of Rs. 2.0 lac per annum. The performance of the students was very appreciating as always, this is the reason we always choose CT Group of Institutions for conducting placement drives. 

However, Aon Hewitt drive too had the same procedure of selecting the students. The Company’s officials selected the students on the annual salary package of Rs. 2.8 Lacs. He said, “The students are highly talented and technically sound. This was our placement drive at CT Group of Institutions and we would surely like to conduct it in the future as well.” While the placement drive of Capgemini selected one student at salary package of Rs 3.5 lac per annum.

S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) and Dr. P.S. Bedi (Campus Director, CT Group of Institutions) appreciated the performance of their students in the co-curricular activities along with studies. They said, “On the endeavor of providing the pathway to success CT Group of institutions is putting the efforts as a result of our endeavors many top notch national & multinational companies have visited our campus for the selection of the potential workforce. Even our students have made us proud by giving such excellent performances in these placement drives.”
