15 students selected by the Future Group during Pool Campus Placement Drive at CT Group of Institutions

Jalandhar: Prestigious International Company, the Future Group conducted pool campus placement drive at CT Group of Institutions'>CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus for selecting budding hospitality talent. As many as 125 students from different colleges like CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM), CT Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (CTIHM&CT Maqsudan), Innocent Hearts, St. Soldier and others participated in the drive.

The recruitment process included the Presentation via Power point & LIVE drama, Team Building and Personal Interview of the students. They shortlisted 28 students of BHM, B.Sc H&HA and B.Sc HMCT (2016-17 passing out batch) by giving them a project to present the team building into reality, out of them 15 students were selected after Personal interview on the designation of Team Leader.

The process was conducted by Ms. Lebana Panekar (Talent head, India at The Future Group) and Ms. Amruta (HR Head, Future Group). They informed about the company as Future Group is an Indian private conglomerate, headquartered in Mumbai. The company is known for having a significant prominence in Indian retail and fashion sectors, with popular supermarket chains like Big Bazaar and Food Bazaar, lifestyle stores like Brand Factory, Central etc. and also for having notable presence in integrated foods and FMCG manufacturing sectors.

Dr. Rohit Sarin (Director, CT Institute of Hotel Management) said, “The Future Group selected 15 students on a salary package of Rs. 2,10,000.  The students of CTIHM outshined and proved that they are the future of hospitality world.”

One of the selected students, Anoveer Singh said, “We are very happy to witness number of placement drives at our campus. We appreciate the effort of our institutions for conducting such drives as it serves an opportunity for us to perform and showcase our skills before the company officials for getting job.”

S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions'>CT Group of Institutions) and Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions'>CT Group of Institutions) congratulated the selected students. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions'>CT Group of Institutions) said, “The Future Group will provide a chance to explore new arenas and boundaries of their professional career to the students. The placement drives is an effort to provide ample job opportunities to the students.”
