Manpreet Badal beats Surinder Singla in the race of ticket

JALANDHAR: Former finance minister of SAD Manpreet Badal defeated former finance minister of Congress Surinder Singla, as far as race to get the Congress ticket from Bathinda (Urban) assembly segment.

The can be termed as defeat of PPCC Chief Captain Amarinder Singh, as he was supporting the candidature of his blue-eyed boy Singla from the seat and even openly declared his support in one of the political meeting in the area.

Manpreet was pick of non other than National Vice President of Congress, Rahul Gandhi, who made his commitment and ticket was given to Badal in an undisputed contest in the race of ticket.
