JALANDHAR: When Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal announced his ‘dream project’ of launching Amphibious Bus in Punjab in a rally few months back, it confused the people and forced them to ‘dream’ what type of this bus would be.  Now tomorrow, it would be the day of fulfilling the ‘dream’ of Sukhbir Badal, as Amphibious Bus is all set to be launched at Harike.

As soon as the photograph of the Amphibious Bus got viral on social media, people got confused to decide whether it is a “Gharuka” (an improvised vehicle) operational in the border areas of Amritsar & Gurdaspur districts or luxury Amphibious Bus, which was in their minds.

Finally, it was confirmed by the officials that the photo being circulated in the social media is not “Gharuka”, but is actually the Amphibious Bus, which was ‘dreamed of’ by Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal and he himself would be one of the first lot of guests on this “Gharuka” (sorry... Amphibious Bus) on Monday.
