Mandeep Kaur, a student of MSc Hons, Department of Physics working under Dr Gurmeet Singh Lotey for her MSc research project bags first prize in oral presentation in International Conference on Recent Advances for QualityEnhancement in Science and Technology, 2017(RAQEST-2017) held in HMV College, Jalandhar from 16-17th January 2017.

Digital Economy: Nothing is difficult, just to avoid hesitation: Dr. Mishra

Nothing is difficult in digital payment; it is just a hesitation of using it regularly. The best way is its regular use without anybody's help. This practical statement is given by Dr. S.K.Mishra, Finance Officer of I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University Jalandhar. He was addressing a workshop held in university campus after the quick start of digital payments from 1st January 2017.

Lohri Celebration (Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions)

Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions celebrated Lohri festival at loharan campus. The celebrations started by gathering around bonfires, offering sweets, puffed rice, and popcorn into the bonfire and by chanting of mantras. After offering prayers, Peanuts, Rewri and other eatables were distributed among all present on the occasion.

Our Girl, Our Pride, an initiative towards saving girl

Save girl child is an awareness campaign to save the girl child in India by ensuring their safety as well as to stop the crime against girl child especially female foeticide and gender inequality. CT Group of Institutions and Model Town Shopkeepers Association (MTSA) presented a ‘Our Girl, Our Pride,’ an initiative towards saving girl child by showcasing a story of Unborn Girl ‘Begging For Birth.’ This is a story of girl child who is murdered before her birth in mother's womb only.

DIPS Hariana’s Tanya got bronze in national kick boxing

DIPS Hariana student Tanya manhas participated in national schools games in kick boxing and played well, she got Bronze medal. Few days back 62nd National School games 2016-17 Kick Boxing championship was held in talkottra stadium, New Delhi. In this competition 12 state participated in it.

AICTE announces approval process for around 14K Colleges for 2017-18

 All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), New Delhi has announced approval process for the year 2017-18 for around 14543 Colleges.  Colleges can apply for the new approval process from 5th January to 4th February, 2017.

He was delivering his speech at I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University Campus during the inaugural ceremony of seven days Faculty Development Programme on “Modelling and Simulation of Engineering Systems”. Dr. Paul presided over this event. Dr. Rajneesh Kant Sachdev, head of the department of food technology briefed the introduction of Prof. (Dr.) Paul.
