JALANDHAR : Scholarly students of Innocent Hearts School, GMT, and Jalandhar have shown a spectacular result in Class 12 board exams (2016-17). Divisha has topped in Medical by scoring 96.2%, Sameeksha Sareen kept the school flag high by achieving 97% in Commerce.    Two students –Shalini Mahajan and Arjun Verma got 95.4% in Non- Medical.

But potential customers have been put off by the heavy weight and the pollution, noise and vibration generated by the few such vehicles that made it to the market. But a group of Mechanical Engineering students of CT Polytechnic College have now developed Diesel motor vehicle to run on diesel without the drawbacks associated with a diesel engine by using four wheeler diesel engine . Moreover, the bike has no gears and it costs just Rs 34,000.

Jalandhar: Two of the international students, Tashi Dendup and Ugyen Samdrup, of Fine Arts at Lovely Professional University (LPU) organized their debut painting exhibition ‘Warriors’ at one of the oldest art galleries ‘Voluntary Artists’ Studio (VAST)’  in Bhutan. It was a great honour for LPU students as Her Royal Highness Princess Ashi Kesang Choden Wangchuck of Bhutan inaugurated the Exhibition. Celebrating the true strength of human spirit, the displayed 47 exhibits were a collection of portraits of human warrior-ship, relevant in all times and cultures. These portrait-paintings in acrylic and oil are created by twin-brothers (Tashi & Ugyen), popularly known as “TWINZ”, during their Fine Arts programme at LPU.
